    Worth it

We had another brand for my first son which he destroyed as a toddler (what you get for buying a product shaped like a toy). I wasn't that impressed so opted for the sleepy troll for son 2. It's way better - both better to use and better at rocking - and the accessories to fit it to the cot is a game changer. Very happy

    It's helping so far

We're exhausted, so are you, that's why you're here. Baby only likes bouncy motion rather than swinging, and so far the sleepytroll in terms of price blows out of the water Cradlewise or Snoo and roughly approximates function. Still at 6 months old, we're working on the transition from bouncer to crib. I will say this helps her fall asleep in the bouncer without human intervention, because we put the bouncer inside of the crib and turned on the sleepytroll and it works with the freedom of the bouncer to slightly go up-and-down *and* side-to-side. I will come back and update my review as we transition her to straight crib with only the sleepytroll.

I DO NOT LIKE that the sleepytroll doesn't work when plugged in, and it can't be set to be on all night. But mostly the first part - this is crazy. Have you ever read the book Precious Little Sleep? Look, I appreciate that you have the auto-detect function, and it seems to work okay. But optionally let the parents decide when the rocking should cease, please? Whatever the child goes to sleep to should continue on throughout the night. Same idea as a sound machine that turns off after 30 minutes - completely useless.

Also, the plug location is in the most inconvenient place possible for a crib configuration with the machine on the left side (so plug goes into right side of machine). It should have either plugged into the back or the bottom, with some kind of lock to ensure it doesn't get pulled on by grabby hands (maybe tie it to a crib slat or something).

    It works but it doesnt

Nothing against the product but it doesn’t really do anything for our son. For us it’s a 200$ paperweight at this point. It does rock things the way it’s supposed to. Just not really usable for us

    Hi!

    Thank you for your feedback.

I’m sorry to hear that the Sleepytroll didn’t work as hoped for your baby. While it works well for many, every baby is unique and has different needs. If there's anything we can help you with or if you'd like tips on adjusting the Sleepytroll, feel free to reach out. We're here to support you!

    Best regards,
    Emilie

    So much to love, but....

    I love the sensor!
However it really needs a USB-C chary port , and a car charger and charge and function when plugged in. Extra batteries would be great too.
Also a one handed pushbutton release would be helpful.
